Basically there is a huge difference between tennis and racquetball, I admit that I totally assumed that id be a complete natural at racquetball because Ive played tennis so long but oh no that is not the case. I am however pretty good at power shots thanks to my years on the tennis team. The idea of being patient and realizing that you can wait until the ball goes past you (bounces of the back wall) is very foreign to me, its like changing everything Ive practiced throughout high school. It makes me wonder if I was wasting my high school years. But at the same time I am so thankful for the blessing of being influenced to try out for the tennis team in 9th grade and then consequentially continuing until now. Because it allowed me to be confident in something that I could share with people I meet, as well as participate in family activities. I am rather good at tennis right now and it actually makes me nervous that racquetball will change my swings and ruin my ability to play.
Monday- This is what I did all day-
10am-woke up,( got ready/brushed teeth etc.) ate breakfast of rice and sausages (mixed together, which was pretty tasty, except since I couldn't find any ranch I just pretty much threw my salad away), made sure my homework was uploaded properly to the website. This was because the icon wouldn't show up the night before so I had to email it to my professor, the problem with that is then I don't receive the satisfaction of having the circle turn green and say "completed" which eases worry.
11:50- Then I decided to leave already because there was nothing left to do so I quickly walked downstairs to go grab my bike and leave when a slight melodramatic tragedy struck- all the bikes were gone- my siblings whose bikes I have been borrowing since the beginning of my classes had been used and taken to school with them. So I had to walk, but my dad said that if I sell Sheridan's old bike (she has a sweet new cruiser) for 80 dollars I can use that money to buy my own bike.
To be continued when I have time- Because I'm busy like that :)
