Dad is coming to visit :)

So, as I mentioned a couple times before, my dad is staying in Hawaii to finish off a semester of school. What is extremely exciting that I may not have mentioned is that he is coming to visit this thursday! Which will be such a blessing, I am so glad that he has found a way to come visit us. I sure love my dad and miss having him around. Its hard because I went to school for 6 months and then I saw him for like a week or two and now I am not with him for another 6 months, and then I will go back to college for 6 months. This means that basically in the span of a year and a half I get to see him for only about a month. So that is really a bummer but I do believe it is right for us to move here to the mainland, I think it is so good for all my siblings and I am just so grateful for the sacrifice he is making for our family as so that we could be closer to his mom and be able to see her so often. It has been so great to have her so close by and to be able to visit her all the time, and simply having her more ingrained in our lives is such a blessing. So although my dad is across the ocean he has been very good at still being the head of our family, as an example he has us call him to do scriptures every night with him, and I just love that he makes time to talk to us and hear about our day. My dad is pretty wonderful, seriously its interesting seeing all the things we need his help with that we may have taken for granted before. He is a pretty handy guy I think, and I'm so glad that when I was younger he would insist on having us be with him while he was doing house hold projects because I think that really has helped me gain confidence in fixing things as well as knowledge of how to do something. Well anyways, I sure love my Dad and I can't wait to see him this thursday it will be very exciting :).
