So my brother Spencer Kimball this week allowed us to convince him to eat a corn on the cob. That was a memorable day because Spencer literally would not eat corn his entire life, and wouldn't even try corn on the cob no matter how much we tried to convince him. So Aunt Carolyn Bills visited and she brought corn with her that she grew from her own garden and so they were truly delicious. So we influenced Spencer to try a bite out of mine, and then he wouldn't give it back! Haha.
Okay honestly I am a little exhausted, but so I am noticing some things that I really admire in people,
- I like when guys ask me to go on a date with them in a nice way I largey prefer " Would you like to come to a movie with me" wayyyy over "I'm going to a movie, would you like to come" or especially over "I'm going to a movie, you can come if you like", and I definitely am not a fan of "hey, when are we going to watch a movie?"
-Another thing- I like "May I sit by you" more then "I'm not going to sit by this other guy over here, I might as well sit here" there is just a world of difference between them.
- I prefer when people offer me a ride simply by saying "would you like a ride?" more then "if you need a ride i could give you one"
- Okay maybe some of them aren't a big deal but I like when it seems like the person generally wants to spend time with me and I like it if they are okay with acting like it.
- Okay I am a little stressed right now, anyways so hopefully that won't affect this post too much
-I'm really tired- I went to a "fireside" which ended up not even being a fireside but more of a welcome back to dixie college seminar, honestly I wish I would have just stayed home. I didn't feel the spirit because it wasn't even really a church meeting, the meeting was opened by a pastor in a different religion. I just would have much rather stayed home or watched a church hymn. Also I went there with someone who reallyyyy was bored and so he talked to his friend for most of the ting, so I would've been fine just having him give me a ride home.
Well my aunts were here Barb Beddes, Carolyn Bills, Maggie Hoops, and so it was pretty great having them there and they are just so wonderful and loving. There are a couple tough things happening in my family right now pertaining to marriages that are falling through (i think I can think of 3 ) anyways so that is kind of sad, and adding that on today I was thinking I was seriously never getting married.
But there are other exciting things like my cousin Dano who has been married for 5 years is pregnant so thats exciting.
