The day of rest

Well I have accepted a calling in my student ward and I must admit I was literally over come with feelings of gratitude and humility when given the calling because it amazed me that the bishop would feel impressed to allow me to have this calling as a freshman, it is relief society counselor- ironically I've had quite a ridiculous amount of trouble trying to spell the word counselor correctly today. I realized looking at my other blog that I really didn't space these paragraphs very well (at all). But now I guess you will know how it feels to grade one of my English papers. Yes, I do literally write whatever comes to my mind and somehow my ideas are able to pull me through and receive relatively decent grades.

Apparently I can't use the "tab" key so every time there is a space just appreciate the fact that I took the time to manually space the paragraphs. I'm assuming that I'm doing this for my personal well being since I really am keeping a blog as more of a journal. At first I thought I could just scan my missionary letters (to my brother and Elder Roberts and Elder Tenner) but that just prolongs the amount of time it takes me to send the letter off to them. So I figured maybe this would work better.

Anyways going back to my calling, It is quite the task, it is truly a wonderful calling and I am grateful for the opportunity but it can be slightly overwhelming. Today we had a 2 hour meeting explaining all of our duties and things we would need to get done, and each of them were briefly covered. This day of rest just got a whole lot busier. But I love it because it will for sure encourage me to go to church as well as learn and meet most of the girls in my ward. I really do enjoy meeting people so I hope I can learn all there names and let them know that I care for them individually.

I'm going to try very hard to go to bed at 10 tonight, I have about 3 hours of homework to do, but since my first class is at 2 tomorrow hopefully I will be able to get up at 10 and get the homework done.

random news- I just found out that my house mates father is a body builder, I saw pictures as well, and man alive that is Intense/ he is intense. I feel like that'd be tough to live up to if you were his son, but I guess you would know that you had the potential and ability to be a muscle man.

So anyways tonight I went to my second cousins house (my mom's cousin) and it was really great because I had a full on meal and so that was a luxury that doesn't come by every day. Also I loved it because they all seemed so interested in what I had to say and what was going on in my life. I love having relatives nearby. Like I have an awesome guy cousin going here (Josh Ophdal) and its been really great. I haven't seen him recently though so hopefully we change that before too long.

I think I'm going to start a new post on my family right now, so this might end randomly but oh well :)
